The Camden Central School District has a vacancy in the Special Education Department for the following position:

Teacher Aide - Special Education Department 1:1

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

● High School Diploma or Equivalent

BASIC FUNCTIONS

● Attending to the physical/behavioral needs of students, as denoted on IEP (i.e. carryover of OT, Speech and other supports)

● Supervising students and performing such other services as support teaching duties when such services are determined and supervised by a teacher.

● Provide behavioral support to students, including assistance with activities of daily living such as toileting, diapering, and hygiene, as required by student needs and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

● Other duties as assigned by the building principal / Director of Special Education.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

● Compensation: Per CSEA contract

● 10 months unless otherwise noted

● 6.5 hours/day
