The Camden Central School District has a vacancy for the following position:

Cleaner/ Custodial Worker 1
Camden Middle School

JOB DESCRIPTION: A cleaner performs routine building cleaning duties under supervision. The work of employees in this class involves only the execution of tasks that follow a well-established routine. Does related work as required.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (Illustrative Only):

● Wash windows, walls, woodwork, and toilets;

● Dusts chairs, tables, desks, and other furniture;

● Sweeps, mops and washes floors;

● Gather and dispose of refuse;

● Cleans and polishes furniture.

● Other duties requiring use of motorized equipment as assigned in the past.

● Any and all other duties assigned by the Senior Custodian or building administration.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

● Compensation – per CSEA contract

● 30 hours per week (approximately 3:00pm - 9:00pm)

● Annual evaluation of performance by the Custodian of the School and Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds
