CAMDEN, NY - The Camden Central School District athletic department is pleased to announce its Athletes of the Week for the period spanning February 10th to February 24th. The period was extended to two weeks due to no student attendance for the mid-winter recess. The award is voted on by members of the student body at Camden High School.
Abigail Hebble:
Abby was nominated for, most notably, winning the 165 LB Sectional Championship in Girls Wrestling. This earned Abby a spot in the first-ever Girls Varsity Wrestling State Championship at MVP Arena in Albany. Her peers also recognized Abby as a positive teammate and a tough competitor.
Isaac Lynch:
Isaac was nominated for, most notably, hitting his 1000th career point versus Adirondack on February 12th. He is just the 3rd player in Camden Boys Basketball history to achieve this milestone. Isaac recently committed to play football at Southern Connecticut State University.
