On Wednesday, fourth graders from both elementary schools came together to compete as part of the annual Camden Central School District fourth grade track meet! The event is always a highlight of the year, especially for this group as they prepare to become one Blue Devil family at Camden Middle School this fall!
Students strived to do their best while representing their school in six individual track events, five field events, and an exciting mixed 4x100 meter relay. Along the way, the competitors also learned how much they've grown since their third grade meet a year ago!
The CCSD Third Grade Track and Field Meet scheduled for Thursday morning has been postponed to its rain date, Friday 5/30 (Tomorrow).
The start time remains 9:15 AM on the new date.
This change does not affect today's Section III Championship Meet at CHS.
On Friday, Camden Elementary School invites you to their "Camden Cares About You Fair"!
This event is open for all in the community to enjoy. Vendors, food, entertainment, and more will be present. In addition, you can pick up your PTO Color Blast Run bib!
Mrs. Kuc’s second grade had a bubble blowing contest with bubbles, then bubble gum to celebrate the ‘B’ from our ABC year end countdown.
CES Families!
As you may have already seen, the Camden Elementary School PTO has been hard at work to help with the cost of school supplies.
Last night, the PTO announced to the CES community that many necessary supplies for Camden Elementary School students for the 2025-26 school year will be provided with money and resources amassed through PTO fundraising efforts! There may be some selected items still needed, but this is a huge step forward for our families.
Please join us in extending appreciation to this incredible group of volunteers for all they do, and to everyone who contributed to making this opportunity a reality!

It's spring, and our "Look at Me, I'm Three!" participants are growing so fast! So it was only fitting that we had a flower-themed May meeting on Wednesday!
The group practiced some relaxing mindfulness, then read the silly story "Grow Flower Grow!" by Lisa Bruce. In the story, Fran tries to feed her flower spaghetti and pizza to make it grow!
Then, it was craft time! Attendees made a paper craft, and also planted flowers for themselves (sans spaghetti). As they keep growing, those flowers will grow with them!
Mark your calendars! June 4th will be our last "Look At Me, I'm Three!" for the school year before our friends head off to Pre-K in September!
This week at Camden Elementary, 2nd-4th graders went on a virtual field trip right from the library! Using Google Expedition VR Headsets, students immersed themselves into interesting locations. From learning about different habitats to seeing world renowned landmarks such as the Colosseum, students had a great time. They even got to see what it would be like to walk on the moon! The headsets are provided by the Madison-Oneida BOCES School Library System.
