In honor of Veterans Day, the McConnellsville Student Council has adopted a US Army Platoon, and they are looking for your help! Students have been signing a banner in the library to send to the U.S. Army 1-10th Attack Battalion, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade from the 10th Mountain Division. The unit is based out of Watertown but is currently deployed.
In recognition of their service, the Student Council is seeking Halloween Candy donations to send alongside the banner. Whether you ended up with too much from trick-or-treating, have an extra bag you didn't give out, or just feel like doing a good deed, it's all welcome!
