At halftime of Friday's win for the Blue Devils, we welcomed back members of our 2003 varsity football team and varsity cheerleading squad for a 20 year reunion! Coach Pawloski delivered a great address to the crowd about our Section III Class A Championship team from that season, and we also took a moment to salute the legacy of the late Billy Magnant. Billy was an important part of that very special team. Welcome back, Blue Devils!

Camden Varsity Football hosts its 2023 home opener tonight! Join us at the Camden High School Stadium as the Blue Devils battle Section III Class B foe Westhill under the lights. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 PM. We will be honoring our 2003 Section III Championship team tonight, 20 years after they brought one home from the Dome! If you can't make it, you can stream the game online free of charge. The Athletic Department has created a quick start guide to get you up and running with our new streaming partner, HUDL TV! https://www.camdenschools.org/o/ccsda/article/1222781 In-person attendance is also free of charge, but there are a few important reminders from Athletic Director Josh Mazzaferro we'd like to pass along: 1. All elementary and middle school students need to be accompanied by an adult. If they are not accompanied by an adult, they will not be allowed to enter the facility. 2. Playing catch or games of any kind will not be allowed. 3. Students should not be wandering around and should be cheering for our Blue Devils! Contact the athletic office if you have any questions regarding these policies, or anything else to do with tonight's game. Let's go get a win tonight!

The Camden Central School District athletic department will be making the move to HUDL TV for streaming select home athletic events for the upcoming 2023-24 sports season. With a free account, you will be able to view our available home events free of charge. The Camden HS Athletic Department should be your first point of contact if you have questions or comments regarding this. If you already have an NFHS network account, keep it handy since other schools may still be using it, plus the live streaming rights for NYSPHSAA and Section III Championship events continue to be held by NFHS. We recently got news that Camden High School has earned "School of Excellence" recognition from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association! Earning the "School of Excellence" designation requires an athletic department to have over 75 percent of its varsity teams achieve "Scholar-Athlete Team Award" status. 25 Blue Devil teams did so during this school year.
