
The Section III Division II Champion Camden varsity boys bowling team traveled to Vista Lanes on Tuesday to bowl in the year-end TVL Tournament. Camden rolled their way to a 2970 score, good enough for second place behind tournament winner New Hartford.
The Blue Devils were led by Ayden Gerow with games of 221, 234, and 203 and a 658 series. Also turning in strong performances were Gabe Lallier with a 246 game and 602 series, Garrett Grinnell with a 234 game and 596 series, Daniel Janes with a 200 game and 555 series, Braylon Lyke with a 543 series and Alex Lallier with a 200 game and 519 series. Rounding out the team were Conner Bruggeman and Ethan Puleo.
Through their performances, Ayden Gerow has earned first team Tri-Valley League All Star Status, while Gabe Lallier and Daniel Janes will be part of the second team.

Today, February 7th, is National Girls and Women in Sports Day! From our athletes past and present, to our coaches, to everyone who has supported our girls' athletic programs over the years, we celebrate each one of you today.


The Camden Girls' Varsity Volleyball team is back in the postseason and would love your support! Join the third-seeded Blue Devils as they play host to sixth-seeded Whitesboro for a Section III Class A Winter Volleyball Quarterfinal on Thursday, February 8th in the CHS Gymnasium.

Congratulations to Camden boys' varsity wrestlers Mason Butler, Bradyn Hatzinger, Talon Kimball, and Kolton Kelley on achieving runner-up status at this weekend's Section III Class B Championship meet held at Homer. The Section III Division II Championship meet is coming up this weekend, and along with it is another chance to go for the gold! Good luck, gentlemen!

Congratulations to sophomore Peyton Kelley on her fifth place finish at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association's 2nd Annual Girls' Wrestling Invitational. That finish landed on the podium in the 94 lb. division!
She becomes Camden's second podium finisher after Rylie Meagher made it in the inaugural event. Meagher competed at 100 lbs, and Abigail Hebble was also in action in the 165 lb. division!
The best is yet to come. All three athletes have years ahead of them yet, and NYSPHSAA is launching a formal State Championship in the sport for the next school year!

It's Teacher Appreciation Night for the Mohawk Valley Jugglers ice hockey program!
The Jugglers are a combined high school hockey program for students around Oneida County whose schools do not sponsor their own ice hockey teams, and Camden students are eligible to play as part of the team.
Before tonight's 7:30 PM puck drop against the Syracuse Cougars, CHS students Brodie and Evan Buckingham have chosen to recognize Camden technology teacher Jeremy Calkins as part of the festivities! The game will be held at the Utica University Nexus Center.

After a slow start to the winter, our Alpine Ski Team has been loving the conditions lately!




Pictures from Wednesday's girls wrestling match against Baldwinsville! We continue to see tremendous strides from this group in the second year of the program, and we couldn't be more excited for what our state invitational qualifiers do on Friday.








That feeling when you get out of trouble early, and rally quickly to get the win. We can confirm the atmosphere in the gym, at this moment, was positively electric.


The Camden Girls' Varsity Volleyball program recently held its senior night festivities for the Class of 2024! Senior players Brooke Musch, Avery Prievo, Leah Runion and Braelin Page, along with manager Kevin Gloude, have played an important role in positioning the Blue Devils at an outstanding 11-0 start, and building off the great strides the program made last year under head coach Katherine Migliori.
The Blue Devils are just one of three teams in Section III Girls' Winter Volleyball to be undefeated at this point, and are the only unbeaten squad in Section III Class A!
The team is set to be back at home tonight against ESM! Match time is set for 7 PM!

At last night's Board of Education meeting, it was our privilege to present Connor Dean '23 with his state championship ring!
The 2023 boys' pentathlon state champion is now in his freshman year at Utica University, where he has been mainly competing in sprint and jumping events up to this point for the Pioneers. Utica returns to the track on Friday night at Hamilton College.




The Camden Central School District has cancelled after school activities for Tuesday, January 16. The Board of Education will still meet as scheduled at 7 PM in the CHS Library Media Center.

Look who's been climbing up the NYSSWA Boys' Basketball state rankings! In the January 2nd edition, the Blue Devils were 21st, and now sit 19th in the January 9th release following Sunday's TVL win over VVS!
The Blue Devils have a big one on Friday night as they head to Rome Free Academy for a matchup with a Black Knights team that was an honorable mention in this week's poll.
The Blue Devil JV and Varsity girls will also be home that evening against RFA.
JV will tip at 5, Varsity will tip at 6:30 in both doubleheaders. Wherever you go, go Blue!

Congratulations to the Camden girls varsity wrestling team on a great performance at the 2024 Dames of Thrones tournament held over the weekend at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany.
This tournament was created to become a marquee regular season event similar to Eastern States or Beast of the East, and the Blue Devils rose to the occasion with eight podium finishes and four individual titles.
