Don't forget about the CES PTO's upcoming book fair! It's happening May 6th to May 9th!

At CES, Mrs. Poulin's and Mrs. Ouderkirk's class recently celebrated the wedding of the letters Q and U! Students learned that qu makes the sound /kw/ and that the letters q and u are always working together to make words like "quiz", "queen", "quilt" and more. What a fun way to celebrate learning about phonics!
No word on whether or not the reception had any of those yummy bacon wrapped scallops. If anyone sees the server who has those, please send them my way...

CES Families! Camden Elementary School is once again participating in Enchanted Forest/Water Safari's Reading Safari program! See the attached program letter for details and reach out to Mr. Ferretti or Mrs. Mitchell if you have questions.

It's that time of year again! Our annual K-12 art show will take place on May 15th! The Art Department is currently seeking donations of artwork from community members and former students for our art auction.
The proceeds from the auction allow the department to award a graduating Senior who is heading into the art field with funds to purchase art supplies as they begin their college career. Please reach out to Amy Andrews if you have a piece of artwork that you would like to donate!

The Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th will be held in the CHS Cafeteria. If attending, please park in the back (main) parking lot and use door "M".
The start time for this regular meeting (7:00 PM) remains the same.

Miss Stone and Mrs. Fasulo's second graders recently finished their Habitat Science unit! As a closing activity, the class dissected owl pellets, inferred what the animal consumed might have been, and re-built the skeletons of the animals they found inside!

Connected Community Schools, The Camden Central School District, and the Center for Family Life and Recovery are teaming up to host a pair of internet safety seminars for parents. See the included image for details!

Mr. Ferretti and Mrs. Mitchell handed out some golden ticket to students who always make great choices. They had the opportunity to eat lunch with the principals and "Rock Out" by painting rocks . Kindergarten kiddos got to go this Friday and 1st will have an opportunity next week before break.
