Connected Community Schools will hold Open Hub Hours on Thursday at the CHS Hub! Whether you need supplies to get through the late stages of Summer, or a place to be for a few hours, they've got what you're looking for.
Contact info for the organization representatives in our District is included in the flyer.
The Camden Central School District is pleased to announce that it will be piloting a full day pre-kindergarten classroom for the 2024-25 academic year. This optional full day opportunity will run alongside our existing half day opportunities at McConnellsville Elementary School.
This program was made possible through the resources provided by the grant funding that sustains our Universal Pre-K program.
Eighteen students will have the opportunity to participate in a full day Pre-K program on a trial basis. As with the half day program, transportation and daily meals will be provided, and the program is free to families.
If more than eighteen students declare interest for the full day pilot program, a lottery will be held to determine who will receive the opportunity to participate in the full day program. If your child is not selected for the full day program, they will maintain their spot for the half day program as originally scheduled.
If you wish for your child to attend the half day program you already registered for, you do not need to take any action.
Interested? Apply at this link! The deadline to apply is Monday, August 19th. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe8aXeXwFolMBZ1E9918Sc6XdkmfCcv6pJ_IcSZ-OjNP4BxMg/viewform

For several years, Camden CSD students have received a free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision without an application requirement. That will continue this year.
While not required for meals, we still encourage all district families to fill out the Income Eligibility Form each year, regardless of circumstances.
It’s free, it’s confidential, it only takes a few minutes, and it can have a positive impact on the resources available to our staff and students. See the informational graphic below to learn more about how filling out the Income Eligibility Form can make a difference in our school community.
Forms are available at https://www.camdenschools.org/o/ccsd/page/food-services, and one will also be sent home with your student(s) at the beginning of the school year.
Questions can be directed to the Camden CSD Business Office.
Under the Community Eligibility Provision of the National School Lunch Program, we will continue to provide all students with a free breakfast and lunch each day during the 2024-25 school year.
