CAMDEN, NY - The Camden Central School District held its vote on the 2022-23 proposed budget, along with Board of Education elections on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022. The results of those elections are indicated below. The District would like to thank the Camden community for its support and engagement throughout the budget process.
Budget Vote
Shall the Board of Education of the Camden Central School District be authorized to appropriate and expend an amount not to exceed $53,720,581 for general purposes for the school year 2022-2023, and to levy a tax on the taxable real property of the school district as provided by law? Options: Yes/No
Result: RESOLUTION ADOPTED (496 votes in favor, 483 votes against)
Board of Education Elections
Voters were asked to select among the candidates for three at-large seats. The recipients of the two highest vote totals will receive a three year term on the Board of Education. The recipient of the third-highest vote total receives a one year term.

Results: Stewart Hatzinger and Jared Perham have been elected to three year terms on the Board of Education. Misty Portner has been elected to a one year term.
