Students in Mr. David Stoelzel's Earth Science class completed a lab with the new topographical augmented reality sandbox. This provided students with hands on experience to solidify their learning! What a cool experience!

CMS students in the Agriculture Electives made salads from the different varieties of lettuce that they grew. These salads were a great lunch for CMS office and District office staff!

Join our team! The Camden Central School District is eagerly recruiting new applicants for Substitute positions! See the attached image for more information on how to get started!

Throughout the rest of the Fall semester, the Camden Central School District will be spotlighting several new members of our staff.
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Shae D’Arcangelis. She is a social worker at Camden Middle School.
Shae is a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and Oneida High School.
Her favorite thing about her position is the rewarding feeling of helping students and families overcome barriers and supporting them through the hard moments that can happen in life.
She says a supportive environment has been key to getting comfortable in the early stages of her career with us.
“The support I have received has made my transition to Camden seamless,” D’Arcangelis said. “I am excited for the opportunities and staff that I will continue to meet along the way. I am very excited for the new school year along with the years to come!”
When she’s not helping our students and families overcome challenges, Shae loves to read, spend time with family and friends, and spoil her golden retriever puppy named Nash.
Welcome to our team!

Our CCSD team is hard at work on professional development activities as part of today's Superintendent's Conference Day, including at Camden High School!
We'll share more photos with you throughout the day!

Students in Mrs. Smith's Project ME elective class took advantage of the beautiful Fall day to practice a little yoga outside. Electives classes are a new option for 7th and 8th grade students at CMS this year!

Saturday (10/8) is parade day! The parade starts promptly at 1 pm. We hope to see as many people as possible out along our village streets as we celebrate our students, alumni, staff, and community!

Throughout the rest of the Fall Semester, the Camden Central School District will be spotlighting several new members of our staff.
Today, we’d like to tell you about Stephanie Calabro! She is a mathematics teacher at Camden Middle School.
Stephanie is a graduate of Herkimer College and Utica University.
Her favorite thing about being an educator has been meeting her students, and encouraging them to be whatever they want to be.
The thing she has enjoyed most about the Camden experience so far is working with her team members and students.
“They are amazing and have made me feel like a part of the team quickly,” Calabro said. “I do not feel like I’m going to work. The students are awesome as well.”
When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys being with her family and traveling to warm weather destinations.
Welcome to the team!

This week, it's all about Camden spirit! Come support your Blue Devils at any of our athletic events throughout the week!

Don't forget, open house at Camden Middle School is TONIGHT (9/29)! The event runs from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.
If you need dinner first, three food trucks will be coming to CMS, with food available for purchase beginning at 4:30 p.m.
