Greenhouse management students have been extra busy the past 5 weeks! They started by hatching and releasing butterflies and also planted 6 Tower Gardens of strawberries!

This September some of the Camden FFA officers traveled to Cornell University to attend the Chapter Officer Leadership Training! Each officer attended leadership workshops and brought back new ideas for the chapter!

The Camden FFA chapter hosted their first high school ffa meeting last month! The room was filled with eager new members as well as LIVE MUSIC!

On Thursday, Camden Middle School was brimming with energy during its 2025 Open House event! The occasion marks a great opportunity to build relationships between home and school, while also giving families a better understanding of their student's day-to-day activities.

CMS Open House is tonight from 6-7! Come meet your child's teachers and learn more about the year ahead.

Starting at 4:30, there will be food trucks set up on the outdoor basketball court, and they are open to the public! Options will include Savage Eats, Squeezers Lemonade, Oh Crepe and Waffles, and Just Dipped! Come grab a bite before Open House, or to enjoy something different for your evening meal!

Our last Featured Guest Librarian is Mia. She was so excited to participate in this program. Each of our Guest Librarians is responsible for their shelf for one month until a new group is selected.

Kyra is our next featured Guest Librarian. Each student is able to curate a shelf in the media center for their friends to choose books from.

Once again this year we are hosting Featured Guest Librarians in the Media Center. Our students are able to share their favorite books and authors with their fellow learners. Up first this year is Eveangeline.

The Fifth Grade Lunch Bunch has decided that Two Mrs. Bs in the Middle School Library just aren't enough so they took it upon themselves to name the barcode scanners Mrs. Beep and Mrs. Boop. Welcome to the crew. 🤣

The agriculture classroom had a HUGE surprise waiting for students today! Two monarch butterflies hatched this morning and are ready to be released by greenhouse management students tomorrow morning!

We are just over a week away from the 2025 Camden Middle School Open House!

Our students have been so excited about the upcoming release of Wicked:For Good in November so Mrs. Britton created this book display featuring characters from the Wizard of Oz, book that mention the book or movie, or books that are often enjoyed by others who are a fan of the Wicked musical. She also included a few books about tornadoes, for our more scientifically minded students. 🌪️ 🧙 🎵

Connected Community Schools is holding Open Hub hours on Thursday, September 11th from 4 to 6 PM at their Camden High School Hub location. Come stock up on essentials while learning more about what Connected Community Schools can offer our families. Please enter through the front bus loop.
