Connected Community Schools is opening up an opportunity to do Senior Pictures this September! Reservations are required and can be made by calling the number in the flyer.
If you use a child care provider for before or after school, and have not updated your transportation at any point this summer, please call 315-245-4096 as soon as possible to confirm the provider’s address for transportation purposes.
If you have updated your pick-up and drop-off points this summer, or you do not use a before or after school child care provider, you do not need to take any action.
The Camden Central School District is using a new routing system this year to provide enhanced information about routes such as times, and elevate the level of transportation services it is able to provide.
Drivers are currently test driving the preliminary runs to evaluate ride times. We have encountered some road closures and road work, and some last minute changes that have had some effect on routing. Transportation is working to resolve those issues and reduce ride times to the extent possible.
We anticipate that we can share a route update for the start of the year on Friday, 8/30.

The energy was high and the competition was spirited as many of our Varsity and JV Fall Sports teams got started on their second day of preseason practice!
A crane is on site at CHS to position some HVAC equipment this AM. Early this afternoon, the installation of the CHS Stadium Press Box is set to begin and crews are preparing support beams for the crane to do its job there.
Practices are continuing but please be cautious if you have a need to be in the immediate area.
The Camden Corner Store will have some great new items in stock at CHS this year, including these bumper stickers! Show your Camden CSD pride with this new item, hot off the presses! Happy first day of JV and Varsity practices for soccer, cross country, tennis, field hockey, and cheerleading! Reach out to your coaches or the athletic office if you have any questions about the logistics of starting practice.
As a friendly reminder, there is a mandatory player, parent/guardian information meeting for 2024 fall sports set to take place on Thursday, 8/29 in the Camden High School Auditorium at 6 PM. The event will provide information and set expectations for the upcoming season. All Fall student-athletes from all levels, and their parents/guardians, should attend.
The guest speaker for the general session will be Kirk Ventiquattro. Locally, you may remember Kirk as the head coach of the Carthage boys' varsity lacrosse team for 30 years, where he coached multiple hall of famers.

Following the Athletic Department meeting, coaches for all levels will hold mandatory team meetings. These meetings will consist of specific information and expectations for each respective team/program.
Modified practices will begin on Tuesday, 9/3.

For several years, Camden CSD students have received a free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision without an application requirement. That will continue this year.
While not required for meals, we still encourage all district families to fill out the Income Eligibility Form each year, regardless of circumstances. It’s free, it’s confidential, it only takes a few minutes, and it can have a positive impact on the resources available to our staff and students.

A listing of Preliminary Bus Routes is now available for your perusal! This is a work in progress meant to help provide a general understanding of your child's bus route. We expect to have a finalized list including updated pickup time estimates in about a week's time. Questions can be directed to the CCSD Transportation Department.

The new CHS School Store space is just about finished and ready to go, and as you can see, there's plenty of items already stocked with more on the way! This new space, located by the CHS Gymnasium, can also double as a concession stand for big events.
As you may know, CHS does not publish a comprehensive building supply list because of the wide variety of student schedules and class needs. To help students and families prepare for the first day of school, the CHS Mathematics and Science departments have released the following supply lists. Please note that these may be subject to change. Contact the CHS Main Office with any questions.
Camden High School has published its 2024-25 Student Handbook and Code of Conduct. It includes important dates, policies, contact information, and procedures for high school students for the upcoming school year. High School students and their families should take a moment to review and become familiar with its contents.
