Thursday night is Morgan’s Message Night with Camden Volleyball! Come support the Blue Devils while advancing the cause of student-athlete mental health with the Morgan’s Message Club, Camden High School Chapter. The club, led by Camden High School senior Ryen Lago and Camden High School social worker Michelle Mellon, aims to raise awareness and provide peer-level support for student-athletes to take control of their mental health journey, and eliminate any stigma around getting the help they may need.
This will be the club’s second athletic event fundraiser, as they launched the initiative during a home field hockey contest this fall.
There will be raffles to support the cause, and we also have a special presentation from International Wire prior to the Varsity contest. Hailey Gladle will deliver remarks on behalf of the Volleyball program.

To the victors.... goes the ice cream! Prior to break, the Class of 2026 was able to enjoy delicious Stewart's Ice Cream as their reward for winning the 2024 National Honor Society Food Drive competition! The CHS admin team and NHS membership were proud to serve you!
In all, the drive raised over 500 items.
Happy Thanksgiving, Blue Devils!
Members of our Camden High School National Honor Society chapter recently completed a school beautification service project. The group got together to plant tulips at the electronic signboard in the front bus loop adjacent to Oswego Street. We look forward to seeing them bloom next year!
Do you need any basic items for thanksgiving break? Need a connection to services? Connected Community Schools is here to help! They will be holding an Open Hub night on Tuesday at Camden High School!
Contact our Connected representatives, Kelly, DeeAmbra, or Kim if you have questions. Their contact information is located on the attached flyer.
At last night's NHS Induction Ceremony, the Camden High School Chapter continued its tradition of inducting an honorary adult member for a 19th time. This year, the members chose Camden Middle School English Language Arts teacher Kate Donaleski!
Students chose to recognize Mrs. Donaleski for her kindness, positive attitude, and diligent work ethic. Many members of the National Honor Society have had her as a teacher, as a coach, or as their National Junior Honor Society advisor in Middle School.
Presenting Mrs. Donaleski with her honorary member plaque were service coordinator McKenzie Allard and secretary Annaka Stauring.
In her keynote address, Kate talked about her roots as a student and NHS member at Herkimer High School. Herkimer has the unique moniker "Magicians" as its mascot, and her brother grew up to pursue magic as a career. She took the opportunity to remind students of the magic they can make every day by striving to do their best.
"This world needs more magic," she said. "Whether it comes in the form of card tricks or community service I hope you choose to perform whenever possible. I hope you remain dedicated to work that matters and make a difference in whatever corner of this world you find yourself in. I hope you continue to learn long after you leave the halls of Camden High School and that you embrace leadership roles just as you have here. I hope that the pillars of National Honor Society continue to contribute to the magic you have the chance to create."
Join us tonight at Camden High School as we recognize our new National Honor Society members!
