Last Friday, CHS got a visit from a few friends from Lewis Manor Labradoodles! It was a great opportunity for students to unwind a bit from the end-of-year activities, tests, and projects.
Thanks to Connected Community Schools for sharing these first.

A wide range of awards across multiple class years were presented last night at the 2023 Awards Night Ceremony at CHS! Academic achievement awards, college scholarships, and the CHS Female Athlete of the Year award were among the honors on the docket, and Mr. Centner did his senior interviews as well!
WE HAVE A STATE CHAMPION!
Congratulations to CHS Senior Connor Dean on winning the pentathlon at the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships!
We are SO PROUD!
Congratulations to CHS Senior Gianna D'Amico! Her New Visions Government class from Madison-Oneida BOCES was recently selected as the second place winner in the New York State Rural Schools video contest, and they will have their work on display at that organization's summer meetings in Cooperstown.
The class is pictured here with instructor Anthony Rocco, and #MOBOCES Board of Education president Doug Gustin, who is also on the Rural Schools board.
We sent off Connor Dean to states in style today at CHS!
Connor is the top overall seed in the pentathlon at this weekend's NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Middletown, NY. As of their latest update, NYSPHSAA says the meet will run on schedule starting tomorrow.

We had an awesome time at last night's CHS Drama coffee house! We hope our seniors cherished every moment of their last time performing on the CHS stage as students, and it was great to see some of our recent grads back supporting the program as well.
Our audience got a real "Kick" out of last night's CHS Drama Club coffee house! Thanks to all who came to support the performers!
Congratulations to Brooke Musch on being chosen as the Tri-Valley League Softball Player of the Year, and to Jed Musch on being chosen as the TVL's Softball Coach of the Year!
Brooke's season is one of the best ever by a New York State high school player, and numbers are getting submitted to the state offices for record certification soon once the state tournament is finalized. As of this point, she is in line to be recognized as the state record holder for stolen bases in a single season, and runs scored in a single season, while also posting the second best batting average in New York State HS history.
In addition to the Musch family taking two of the three major awards from the TVL, five Blue Devils were named league all-stars (Brooke Musch, Camryn Shenk, Kaitlyn Findlay, Ryleigh Johnson and Layla Killino), and Kendall Musch and Avery Prievo were named honorable mention all-stars.
Congratulations!

The 2023 CHS Drama Club Coffee House is tonight (Wednesday, June 7th) at 6 PM. In addition, Shorty's Deli will be donating a portion of your total check to the drama club if you dine there between 4 and 6 pm tonight.
Dinner, Dessert, and a Show? That's a pretty good deal for a Wednesday Night.
Check out this awesome story from #MOBOCES about CHS senior and CTE Conservation student Lillian Piersall!
We're proud that she has taken the lead on a pretty cool horticulture project, and we hope that we see some of our younger students follow that example someday using the foundation set down for them in their new agriculture classes at Camden Middle School, At CMS, we have had the good fortune of receiving a grow tower provided by this grant through MOBOCES.
