Congratulations to 2023 CHS Valedictorian Connor Perrotta on receiving his induction into the CHS Arts Hall of Fame! Connor is a gifted musician who has represented Camden on the county, state, and regional stages during his high school career. He received the honor from Mr. Matthew Donaleski at Wednesday's Class Night ceremony.
One of the biggest awards given out at each year's Class Night is the Student Seed of Selflessness award. This award closely mirrors the adult award in that it is given to a recipient who routinely goes above and beyond what is required to help students, staff, and their community.
This year's recipient was Katie Hite. Adult recipients Pearl Romano and Karl Keil presented Katie with her award.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Connor Dean on claiming top honors in the pentathlon at the Section III State Qualifier. He was the top competitor in all of section III, regardless of school classification.
Connor will advance to the New York State Championships at Middletown High School in Middletown, NY, to be held on Friday, June 9th, and Saturday, June 10th.
Hours of awards and thousands of dollars were presented to members of the CHS Class of 2023 last night at class night!
We'll post a full recipient list later on today. In the meantime, we have a jam-packed amount of pictures to go through here! https://photos.app.goo.gl/ChUJf5z9RkDGv4h76
Earlier this month, four student-athletes in the varsity track and field program made a bit of history. Brodie Buckingham, Liz Hunley, McKenzie Aldridge, and Jaiden Catania teamed up at the Whitesboro Ed Wadas Invitational as part of what is believed to be Camden's first-ever Co-Ed 4x400 relay team. In a field of 21 competing mixed relay teams, the quartet covered the 1,600 meter distance in 4:11.46.
