The Camden Central School District athletic department will be making the move to HUDL TV for streaming select home athletic events for the upcoming 2023-24 sports season. With a free account, you will be able to view our available home events free of charge.
The Camden HS Athletic Department should be your first point of contact if you have questions or comments regarding this.
If you already have an NFHS network account, keep it handy since other schools may still be using it, plus the live streaming rights for NYSPHSAA and Section III Championship events continue to be held by NFHS.

Did you know that today, August 9th, was declared as "Connor Dean Day" in Oneida County?
Congratulations to our newest state champion on this awesome honor!

We recently got news that Camden High School has earned "School of Excellence" recognition from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association! Earning the "School of Excellence" designation requires an athletic department to have over 75 percent of its varsity teams achieve "Scholar-Athlete Team Award" status. 25 Blue Devil teams did so during this school year.

The Camden High School drama club is pleased to announce the title of its fall 2023 production. This year's CHS Fall Play will be "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," adapted for the stage by playwright Virginia Koste!
This unique re-telling of locally-born author L. Frank Baum's classic story will be presented three times. The opening night performance will be held on Friday, November 3rd at 7 PM. There will be two performances on Saturday, November 4th. The first will be a matinee held at 2 PM, and one final performance will be held at 7:30 PM.
Auditions will be held in September. Contact advisor Stephanie Heath if you have questions.
Synopsis: Like the stage manager in Our Town, Frank Baum "stage manages" his story to keep the action brisk from scene to scene. Baum is a welcome and theatrical addition. In real life he was an actor, traveling salesman, vaudeville manager and newspaperman. Swept to Oz on a cyclone, Dorothy joins with the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion as she searches for home and family. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz celebrates the importance of mind and heart; courage in facing what is feared; the need to dream, to dare, to ride out storms; the joys of loving, laughing, crying, being lost and found. Faithful to the original book, Virginia Koste's play creates a fresh framework for Oz.

Did you know that Camden students can participate in high school ice hockey? Camden is a participating school in the Mohawk Valley Jugglers combined hockey team that competes in Section III competition each winter. Camden students Brodie and Evan Buckingham are on the team currently, along with students from 10 other area districts.
The team relies on fundraising to stay on the ice, and could use your support at their upcoming golf tournament to be held at Stonebridge Golf Club in New Hartford on Friday, August 4th. Registration is at 8 AM, and golf begins with a "shotgun" start on the course at 9 AM.
The cost is 100 dollars per person, which includes greens fees, cart, lunch, beverages, dinner, on-course contests, door prizes, and of course, important resources for the team to compete this winter.
Sponsorship packages are also available for interested businesses.
To register, learn more about the tournament, or learn about sponsorship, click this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_mb2BfvBLuVCgptyv3QCJlJv4dkzpqY0/view?usp=sharing
Questions can be directed to Cyndi Posello (315) 292-8145, or to Megan Buckingham at MBuckingham@camdencsd.org.

The Camden Connected Community Schools team will be hosting "Open Hub Hours" at CHS on Monday, 7/24 from 4-6 PM. Please bring bags if you have them. See the flyer below for more information, and contact our site coordinators at the numbers listed with any questions.

Camp is back in session! Wednesday marked the third day of our summer enrichment program called “Camp Sum-More-Fun”.
Over 400 students in grades K-9 are taking part in this award-winning educational program for the 2023 season at Camden High School.
Our K-2 students, the “Happy Campers”, explore a wide variety of age-appropriate STEAM activities. Students in grades 3-8 are known as the “Explorers” group, and are enrolled into subject-based “cabins” where they can explore an area of their choice such as drones, culinary arts, agriculture, business, music, and theatre.
We have also added a ninth grade “leadership” group for the first time. A select group of students were chosen to offer peer mentorship and leadership education opportunities to the younger campers.
In our Wednesday session, we saw an incredible racing drone demonstration, craft activities with our “Tycoon Junior” business group, spirited competition from the “Ninja Warriors” group, and an AWESOME science presentation by “Professor K” at our closing ceremony (We’ll have video shortly!).
Stay tuned for plenty of content as CSMF continues!
CSMF is presented through a partnership with the Madison-Oneida BOCES LEAP summer enrichment programs!
