Koen Turner, National Honor Society President welcomed guests and inducted 37 new students into Camden's NHS Chapter Wednesday evening. Mr. Steria, CHS Head Custodian, was presented with Honorary Membership and shared a message of setting goals and integrity to everyone in attendance. Congratulations to all our returning and new members. Thank you Mr. Steria for everything you do for CHS!!!

This past Saturday Jerome Seidl and Ivy Murphy represented Camden at the New York State Cross Country Championship Meet held at VVS. Jerome was 57th overall and he was also the Class B recipient of the Sportsmanship Award. Ivy Murphy was 78th overall and improved her time from last week by 10 seconds. Congratulations to both of these athletes on a phenomenal season and for doing a great job representing Camden at the state level.

Performances will be held on Friday, November 4th at 7 pm, and Saturday, November 5th at 2 pm & 7:30 pm. Admission is free!
Scientists from the NOAA's National Severe Storms Laboratory were at CHS on Friday. They presented to Meteorology and Broadcast Journalism students while setting up some equipment that will aid them in an upcoming study of thundersnow in the Tug Hill region. This study is a collaboration of multiple universities and N.A.S.A.
CHS Drama Club will be presenting the play, "Little Women" this weekend. Shows run Friday - 7:00pm, Saturday - 2pm and 7:30pm. Admission is FREE!!!!

Congratulations to CHS Cross Country senior Jerome Seidl! While leading the Camden boys to a third place finish, Jerome captured the 2022 Tri-Valley League Individual Cross Country Championship as he won Saturday's race with a five-kilometer time of 16:56! He bested a field of 146 other runners on his way to victory. The Section III Championships will be held on November 5th at VVS.
CHS Senior Ivy Murphy was welcoming visitors to the Madison-Oneida BOCES Campus during last night's Open House! She was participating in the event as part of the MOBOCES Student Ambassador program. During her normal school day, she studies Cosmetology on the Verona campus.

Mr. Petrie's Basic Electricity class are further developing their soldering skills. Students will finish their circuits early next week and then test them to identify their total resistance. They will discover if current and voltage change or stay the same in a series circuit.
