Television: WSTM-3/5, WIXT-9, WKTV-2, Spectrum News, WUTR-20, WFXV-33

Internet:  Camden CSD Website – www.camdenschools.org

Mobile App: Push Notifications direct to your device are also available on the FREE Camden CSD App, and will be available in real time as closings are posted to the website.

Please note that we will try to make a closing or delay decision by 6:00 a.m.  The opening of school may be delayed ONE, TWO, or THREE HOURS, depending on circumstances.  The early dismissal of students is an option occasionally used.  Please list all emergency contacts you may need on your child’s emergency card that will be sent home with your child.

Transportation

Any questions regarding transportation procedures should be directed to the Bus Garage as the first point of contact.

The Camden Central School District is using a new routing system this year to provide enhanced information about routes such as times, and elevate the level of transportation services it is able to provide. As of 8/28, drivers are completing test drives to update timing, and efforts are being made to reduce ride times to the extent possible.

If you use a child care provider for before or after school, AND you have not updated your child's transportation pick-up and drop-off points at any point this summer, please call 315-245-4096 as soon as possible to confirm the provider’s address for transportation purposes. If you have already updated your pick-up and drop-off points this summer, OR you do not use a before or after school child care provider, you do not need to take any action.

Updated route listings can be expected on or around August 30th. On the first day, please allow a 10 minute variance in pickup times to account for any delays or routes running ahead of schedule.

Please take a moment to review the CCSD Bus Rules with your child.

JUST GET IN LINE!

We offer Free Lunch and Breakfast to EVERY Student, EVERY day through the Community Eligibility Provision.

Please consider utilizing this program. We need your participation in order to meet the State and Federal Government requirements for adequate funding.

Even though we offer free meals to students, all district families are encouraged to fill out the income eligibility form regardless of their circumstances. Doing so may grant access to additional benefits that district children may qualify for.

That form is available below, or you may click here. It will also be sent home with students at the start of the school year. We thank you for doing your part to ensure the best experience possible for all students.

District Policies, Administrative Regulations

Comprehensive listings of District Policies and the District's Administrative Regulations are always available on our CamdenSchools.org website. As students grow, their responsibilities and opportunities can evolve, so each school building has its own school-wide expectations and procedures in addition to these that must be followed.
