The Board of Education is the official policy-making body of the school district. Members are responsible for carrying out the laws and regulations pertaining to the education of students. The Board adopts school district policies, curriculum, programs of study, and approves the hiring of all personnel, as well as, establishing the conditions of employment. The Board of Education is comprised of seven district residents who are elected by voters to three-year terms and are not compensated for their work as members. Seated with the Board at meetings are the Superintendent of Schools, the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Assistant Superintendent for Business, and the Board Secretary.

The Camden Central Schools, in partnership with parents and community, will actively engage each student in the learning process. THE CAMDEN SCHOOL COMMUNITY WILL FOSTER THE CONTINUED GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ALL STUDENTS
Board of Education meetings are open to the public and are held at 6:00 p.m. in the Camden High School Tuthill Learning Commons. Additional meetings are scheduled as needed. Meeting agendas are available on the Camden Central Schools website.
