Third grade students at Camden Elementary School recently had the opportunity to learn about many of the creatures that inhabit their own backyards. The students received a visit from educator Faith Ordonio from the Adirondack Experience on Wednesday, February 15th.
Ordonio taught multiple classes about how the animals in the Adirondack Park adapt to their environment, and about the visible differences between carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. Students were led through an exercise where they identified replica animal skulls based on the type of diet they consume.
The Adirondack Experience is a museum located in Blue Mountain Lake, NY.
