The Camden High School Envirothon Team performed well while taking on a higher level of competition last week. The Blue Devils competed at the New York State Envirothon Championships held at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva on Wednesday, May 24th, and Thursday, May 25th.
The Blue Devils placed 11th among 42 schools competing statewide. While at the competition, the students presented a proposal for new Co2 reduction initiatives, while also competing in events representing five categories of study: Aquatics, Soil, Forestry, Wildlife, and Current Affairs.
The team advanced to this point by claiming the Oneida County Envirothon Championship held in April. Team members included Jerome Seidl, Dominick Edwards, Bartholomew Seidl, Conner Tefft, and Billy Bernabe.
Congratulations!
