CMS 5th and 6th graders recently met Utica Comets forwards Tyce Thompson and Graeme Clarke as part of a recent assembly! The players came and shared the message that “It’s Cool to Be Kind” with our students.
The Utica Comets are the top affiliate of the New Jersey Devils.
Clarke, a third round pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, is in his third season with Utica and has been with the team since the current New Jersey Devils affiliation came into force.
Thompson, a fourth round pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, has also been with the Comets since the re-introduction of the Devils affiliation, and has played in eleven regular season games with the big club. Sabres fans may also be very familiar with his brother, Tage, who had a fantastic 2022-23 season with our nearest National Hockey League team.
Of course, there was also time for autographs!
