Camden High School junior Dolmae Honrales has already made quite an impression with her work at the CNY Scholastic Art Show. She received a gold key award for her self portrait drawing, and a silver key for her watercolor painting. Those works were on display at Onondaga Community College throughout the month of February.
With the show wrapping up, the Camden High School Art Department has received the exciting news that Dolmae’s work is going to remain on display as part of a special collection. Her gold key-winning self portrait will be transferred to Syracuse’s Everson Museum of Art for an annual select exhibition of top works from the Scholastic Art Show. It will be on display alongside just 29 other student works and the museum’s esteemed worldwide collection. The exhibition runs from March 9th until April 17th. Congratulations!
