The Camden Middle School drama club is back on stage this week with their 2024 spring production! Join them on Thursday, May 16th and Friday, May 17th as they present “Miss Nelson is Missing!”. Both shows begin at 6:30 PM and will take place in the Camden Middle School Auditorium. Admission is free.
This theatrical production was based on the classic books by Harry Allard, and adapted for the stage by Jeffrey Hatcher. It tells the story of Miss Nelson, who is nice to the point where her students’ classroom behavior is totally outrageous. One day, she disappears and the classroom is taken over by substitute teacher Viola Swamp. With Viola running the show, life gets difficult for the students as she proves to be as tough as nails. With a big exam around the corner, the kids realize they miss Miss Nelson, and with the help of a private eye, they band together to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring her back to school.
Don’t miss this charming tale on stage at Camden Middle School!
