The Camden Central School District would like to take a moment to provide further clarification about the background check process for our employees.
Each employment applicant to a public school must undergo a fingerprint supported criminal history background check as required by New York State Law. This check includes the Federal Bureau of Investigations Criminal History Database, and the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services Criminal History Record Review. It includes all arrests and applicable circumstances, charges, and convictions permitted by law.
