CAMDEN, NY - Camden High School Principal Aaron Fiorini is pleased to announce the students who have achieved top ten academic standing in the Camden High School Class of 2025. This group represents some of the Camden Central School District’s highest achieving students on an academic and personal level, and the District would like to take the opportunity to congratulate each one on this milestone.

The Valedictorian of the Class of 2025 is Thomas Potter. He is the son of Jessica and Sean Potter of Taberg. Thomas is currently in the process of finalizing his college decision among a wide range of top universities with a technology focus. He aspires to study computer science or in an adjacent field. His acceptances include Manhattan University, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and New York Institute of Technology. Thomas holds broad aspirations for his future, and has stated he wants to be proud of what he’s doing and be happy with his life.

The Salutatorian of the Class of 2025 is Annaka Stauring. She is the daughter of Carol and Christopher Stauring of Taberg. Annaka plans on attending Elmira College to study chemistry education, in hopes of someday becoming a chemistry teacher. For her long term aspirations, Annaka would like to end up living and teaching in Maine in a similarly-sized district to Camden. She would also like to continue using her talents in music and theatre into adulthood.

3rd - Calli Evans is the daughter of Jami Barnum and Hawley Evans of Cleveland. She plans to attend Le Moyne College and the Crouse Pomeroy School of Nursing through a partnership program, with the goal of completing her Bachelor’s of Nursing within three years. After receiving her degree, Calli aims to become an emergency department nurse and wants to be very successful in that line of work.

4th - McKenzie Allard is the daughter of Ron and Lynnette Allard of Blossvale. McKenzie plans to attend Binghamton University to study biological sciences. After achieving her four-year degree, she plans to further her education in the graduate-level dental program at the University at Buffalo. Her ultimate goal is to become an orthodontist.

5th - Jade Barringer is the daughter of Whitney and Curtis Barringer of Camden. Jade plans to attend Keuka College to study adolescent education in the area of mathematics. After graduation, she aspires to teach high school mathematics, have a family, and continue to be involved in her community. 

6th - Olivia Hooker is the daughter of Tracy and John Hooker of Canastota. She plans to attend the University of Tampa to pursue a degree in biology, with a long-term goal of entering the field of physical therapy. She hopes to open her own practice to serve her community.

7th -  Jacob Lago is the son of Toni and Ryan Hall of Camden. Jacob plans to enlist in the United States Navy and its Nuclear Propulsion Program, with aspirations of eventually attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. His career goal is to become an Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer (AEDO) and be successful while continuing to climb the ladder.

8th - Piper Snyder is the daughter of Missie and Rick Snyder of Camden. She will attend Colgate University with plans to study English. Piper plans to work in journalism or publishing, and eventually have the opportunity to publish books of her own. She wants to travel the world and see as much as she can. Ultimately, she aims to find things that make her happy and pursue them throughout her life.

9th - Hannah Cere is the daughter of Steve Cere and Laurie Cowan of Blossvale. She plans to attend either Hobart and William Smith Colleges, or Amherst College. In the event she attends Hobart and William Smith, she hopes to enroll in the 3+3 undergraduate/law degree program that the institution offers in partnership with Cornell University. In her career, she wishes to become a forensic psychologist, or use psychology as a pathway to law school to become an attorney. Beyond the working world, she wants to live a life of love, perspective, creativity, and service. She also wants to travel and see the beauty of our planet and its various cultures.

10th - Abigail Douglas is the daughter of Mallory and Ronnie Douglas of Osceola. She plans to pursue a degree in accounting from SUNY Oswego. Her goals are to stay local, get a graduate degree, and become a Certified Public Accountant working in an education or military-related role.
