CAMDEN, NY - The Camden Central School District music department is proud to announce the selection of Camden High School student Connor Perrotta to the Eastern Division Honors Festival. The Festival will be held in Rochester, NY from April 13th to 16th, 2023. The event is sponsored by the National Association for Music Education, and hosted by the New York State School Music Association.
At the festival, Connor will work and perform among more than 200 students selected from New York State, and among approximately 600 students from along the east coast.
Students will rehearse and perform with their ensembles under the tutelage of renowned conductors from across the country. They will conclude the weekend with a concert featuring the prepared works at the famous Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, located on the campus of the University of Rochester.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ravo Root offered his congratulations on this momentous achievement.
