The weather outside was typical of winter, but students and families at McConnellsville Elementary School weren’t about to let that get in the way of a good time on Thursday, January 26th. They huddled around the tables and brought their thinking caps for Pajama Game Night, sponsored by the McConnellsville PTO.
The evening provides a much-needed opportunity to socialize for students and their families, while also reinforcing many of the basic skills students build in the classroom through informal play.
Popular game choices for the evening included Trouble, Sorry!, Chutes and Ladders, and Candy Land.
As an added bonus, students were encouraged to embrace a seasonal vibe for the event by showing up in their pajamas, and some family members also got in on the fun with some fantastic outfits.
A great time was had by all in attendance!
