The Camden School District is seeking motivated, diligent, and people-centered applicants for the full-time position of Transportation Director. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision and operation of the District’s transportation fleet.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Preparing, or assisting the preparation of bus routes and schedules.
2. Interviewing, training, and assigning bus drivers.
3. Maintaining time and trip records.
4. Preparing transportation and accident reports as needed.
5. Addresses questions, concerns, comments, and disciplinary matters concerning the District’s transportation services.
6. Maintains careful supervision of bus cleanliness, operation, and maintenance.
7. Ensures transportation operations conform with all applicable laws and regulations, including New York State law.
8. May operate a school bus on a regular route, or as a substitute driver.
Salary will be based on experience, and the Camden Central School District offers a comprehensive benefits package.
