We have a Homecoming web page for your perusal. On that web page, you’ll have the opportunity to register for the parade, and the craft and vendor fair. We also have additional details on the parade, craft and vendor fair, and building-level Spirit Week events. New information is being added periodically as each building finalizes its own spirit week plans. We will use this page as a landing point for this year’s events and future homecoming celebrations. Head to the following URL to access the web page: https://www.camdenschools.org/page/homecoming. You may also access the web page directly from the District website’s home page.

Homecoming 2022 Highlights One of the area’s time-honored traditions will continue in 2022 as we hold the Homecoming parade in the village. The parade will take place on Saturday, October 8th, with the line of march stepping off at 1 p.m. from Camden High School. The route will continue through the village as it has in the past. The craft and vendor fair will also take place on Saturday, October 8th. It will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Village Park. Vendors and exhibitors will need to register for their 12x12 space at a cost of 30 dollars. Proceeds will benefit future Homecoming celebrations. The Homecoming football game is now scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 8th. South Jefferson is the opponent. This is a slight change from a previously listed 6 p.m. start time.

Last night's Camden Elementary School Open House was very well-attended! It was great to see so many of our families come in to meet their student's teachers and classmates, and take a more personal level of involvement in the learning process. Thank you to our community partners who stopped in to provide information and other goodies as well. Led in their efforts by Miss Tayler Galusha, our Connected Community Schools team was able to partner with local salons to provide a free haircut to any student who wanted one.

The WCHS News Crew is back in full swing for the 2022-23 school year! Students at CHS gather each morning for an elective class where they produce a video version of the school's morning announcements. While putting together this collaborative project each morning, they learn about production technology and hone their critical thinking skills. When the show is wrapped up for the day, it gets posted at https://www.camdenschools.org/o/chs/page/current-announcements for our students, staff, and community to see! We'll give you an opportunity to read more about this program in our first edition of the Camden Connections newsletter for the 2022-23 school year!

It was an AWESOME Friday Night in the Queen Village! Our varsity football program opened the 2022 season with a 43-24 win over Chittenango! As part of the festivities, we honored our 1972 team at halftime. We also took time to recognize our 1982, 1992, 2002, and 2012 squads as part of a multi-generational celebration of Camden football! The Blue Devils will look to double up on their win total to start the season as they meet Cortland for a Thursday night home game. Come on out and support the team!
