Camden agriculture students recently attended Farm Fest at DiNitto Dairy Farm in Marcy. Students spoke regarding calf health and care to multiple groups of elementary students. The DiNitto family is a huge advocate for the dairy industry, and our students are lucky to be a part of this event they host each year!

Did you know we have varsity student-athletes competing in high school boys' ice hockey? It all happens through a regional co-op program called the Mohawk Valley Jugglers. The Jugglers are made up of players from about a dozen local schools, including Camden's Brodie and Evan Buckingham. These two student-athletes embody dedication to the sport, often travelling over 45 minutes for practice alone. The program is largely a self-funded endeavor, and the sport can get expensive over time. If you're interested, you can support the team through their upcoming golf outing on August 2nd. In addition to golfers, they are also looking for raffle basket donors and sponsors. For more information on this outing, or the Jugglers program, reach out to Megan Buckingham at mbuckingham@camdencsd.org.

This weekend-long festival celebrates the "Wizard of Oz" story authored by Chittenango native L. Frank Baum, and features a wide range of honored guests such as Gita Dorothy Morena, who is Baum's great-grandaughter, and Jane Lahr. Lahr is the daughter of actor Bert Lahr, who played the Cowardly Lion in the famous 1939 motion picture.

As we ran elementary track meets for third and fourth grade, we have some people to thank for making it happen. Keeping a track meet organized and running in a timely manner is no simple task, and our PE Teachers, 3rd and 4th Grade Teachers, and our student volunteers kept things running smoothly. Our high school students were great role models for their younger peers. Well done!
