Look who's been climbing up the NYSSWA Boys' Basketball state rankings! In the January 2nd edition, the Blue Devils were 21st, and now sit 19th in the January 9th release following Sunday's TVL win over VVS! The Blue Devils have a big one on Friday night as they head to Rome Free Academy for a matchup with a Black Knights team that was an honorable mention in this week's poll. The Blue Devil JV and Varsity girls will also be home that evening against RFA. JV will tip at 5, Varsity will tip at 6:30 in both doubleheaders. Wherever you go, go Blue!

We have found another way you can save! With the Camden Central School District's participation in the National School Lunch Program, our families with a student enrolled in the District can save over 50 percent on their monthly Amazon Prime bill with Amazon's Prime Access program. This program cuts down the monthly bill for a subscription from 14.99/month to 6.99/month. Please note that signing up will cancel your existing subscription and replace it with a new one at the reduced rate. Proof of eligibility is required. If you signed up for the Affordable Connectivity Program, you may already have what you need to establish eligibility. When filling out the form, attach a picture or screenshot of the Affordable Connectivity Program eligibility letter you may have received earlier this school year, and that should be sufficient to receive your discount. If you need a new letter, contact the main office and they can furnish a typed letter to you via email, or by sending it home with your child. Click the following link to learn more, or to get started on registration. https://www.amazon.com/58f8026f-0658-47d0-9752-f6fa2c69b2e2/qualify If you have any questions about this opportunity, Lauren Platt can answer them. The Middle School Library lunch crew has been working on a 500 piece puzzle for a few weeks and has just finished it! They started a new one as soon as this was done. If you have a 500 piece-or-similar puzzle with all the pieces you'd be willing to pass along for the students to enjoy, please send it along to Mrs. Bloomquist or Mrs. Britton on the CMS Media Center.

As many of you heard, our Athletic Director, Josh Mazzaferro was recently chosen for the Dr. Liam Frawley Emerging Athletic Administrator award by his peers in Section III. At the start of break, the Daily Sentinel, Josh's hometown paper, ran an article about his achievement. (https://www.romesentinel.com/news/camden-athletic-director-emerging-administrator-award/article_564ae266-9f68-11ee-a538-6b8e9b3c3f15.html) So, at the first cabinet meeting of the new year, we saw it fitting to make sure we got his autograph on the front page.
