The kindergarten students at CES created a turkey feather at home with their families to add to their classroom turkeys. These classroom turkeys are displayed in the hallway for all to see!
Mrs. Willson's homeroom celebrated Thanksgiving with a little pie and some feel good notes. Each student arrived to find a plate with kind affirmations from their classmates next to their pie supplies. Students made their pies and enjoyed them topped with whip cream. CMS administrators and Dr. Root stopped by for some pie and to wish some of our students a Happy Thanksgiving. It was a great way to start the day!
All after school activities for the Camden Central School District are cancelled on Tuesday, November 21, due to poor weather conditions.
Were CMS staff members excited for Turkey Dinner day last week? You be the judge of that! Special thanks to Pearl Romano and the entire CCSD Food Service team for always making this day special for staff and students.
We hope you enjoyed joining Camden Middle School in their "Big Blue World" for their musical production of "Finding Nemo Jr."
Congratulations to the cast and crew on two wonderful performances!
Many classes at McConnellsville have been reading Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano. In the spirit of the book, students have created some disguises to help their feathered friends make it through the holiday.
Do you recognize any of these turkeys?
Thank you McConnellsville! The Third Grade IFA Reading Group raised $533.25 for their Pennies for Puppies/Coins for Kitties initiative! This money will be given to Paws For a Cause in Blossvale.
Mrs. Lapier's CMS engineers were hard at work investigating the forces of flight and gaining experience with the engineering design process! The challenge was to design and construct a paper airplane that would travel the farthest!
Do you have a student interested in exploring what they can do on stage, or maybe a student hungry for more experience after the CMS musical? Are you a college student living locally who wants to get back on stage?
If so, the Rome Capitol Theatre has extended an invitation for any prospective performers to join their Rising Stars program for a 10-week winter session.
Details are included in the attached image.

Today, students at Camden High School came to school in their pajamas to support a very special four-legged friend. This is Cooper.
Cooper is Mrs. Hooker's therapy dog. Unfortunately, Cooper was recently diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma, and students decided to come together and show their support.
Mrs. Hooker and Cooper wanted to take a moment to thank every single person within the CHS community who showed their support during what can be a very challenging journey.
Mrs. Kowalski's 3rd grade students recently created clay animals as part of their culminating activity from their ELA instruction at CES!
Don't blink! It has already been a week since junior prom, and it sometimes feels like it was yesterday. We hope the Class of 2025 had a great time!
The moment you've all been waiting for.....
And might we say.... to give you a hint.... "Please sir, I want some more?!?"
All poetic phrasing aside, the CHS Music Department is pleased to announce that this year's Camden High School musical will be..... Lionel Bart's "Oliver!"
Save the dates: March 1st and 2nd! Come and join us for this splendid musical re-telling of the Charles Dickens classic "Oliver Twist".
Just four shows remain on the board for the 2024 CHS Musical! Mr. Klepadlo was the most recent special guest to take some shows off the big board!
Will it be Oliver? My Fair Lady? The Pajama Game? or Once Upon a Mattress? Stay tuned!
Oh.... by the way, it's as good a time as any to remind you to come and see the CMS Musical, Finding Nemo Jr!
