Our first grade happy campers kicked off the new week by enjoying some ice cream sundaes courtesy of our area Stewart's Shops locations!
McConnellsville Elementary School is pleased to announce that once again, it will have the necessary supplies on hand for its students to start the 2024-25 school year and will not be issuing a typical building supply list. The provided school supplies are made possible through the fundraising efforts of the McConnellsville PTO, along with the generosity of the McConnellsville Elementary School community.
Please bring a backpack and water bottle to school on the first day. In the event a specific teacher needs additional items for class, they will let you know directly.
Thank you to the McConnellsville PTO for leading this effort on behalf of our students and families. Through the support of the school community year after year, opportunities like this one can be offered.

Our Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media cabin members put on their reporter hats during a recent visit with some of our "Happy Campers" students. The Broadcasting students conducted brief interviews with their younger peers, and will be preparing a report based on the responses given.
Getting out and getting active is easier when you have a fun activity to pass the time. Take disc golf, for example. Our CSMF Lifetime Sports Cabin turned the new baseball field at the Middle School into a disc golf course on Thursday afternoon!
When the puppies from Lewis Manor Labradoodles come to visit, you can be sure of three things.
1. The students are excited.
2. The staff are excited.
3. Mr. Evangelist will immediately make a beeline for the dogs if he sees them.

Open Hub Hours are TONIGHT (7/18) from 4 to 6 PM at CHS! The event is open to families in the District, and will include the opportunity to pick up some basic groceries/supplies at no cost to you. The Encore Jazz cabin took a little break from rehearsal to play the modern board game hit "Throw Throw Burrito" this morning!
Our new Digital Media and Broadcasting cabin has been extremely busy in just a few days! Right now, the group is examining the parts of a news story to understand structure, and are reading aloud to practice their delivery. They have already made their first camp-wide commercial for the Tycoon Junior business cabin, and are getting ready to film another shortly!
The "Tycoon Junior" business cabin is back for another year running the CSMF Camp Store! Stay tuned to see what kind of surprises will await our campers when the store opens for business!
