The Oneida County Health Department, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, and the Camden Life Center are bringing the Oneida County Car Seat program to Camden!
Free car seats will be available to eligible attendees (see the attached press release for more information on eligibility), and a technician will be on-site to help anyone who may have a car seat already with questions about how to properly secure one in their vehicle. There are no eligibility requirements to meet with the fitting technician about your seat.
See the attached images for more information.
Congratulations to Brooke Musch on being chosen as the Tri-Valley League Softball Player of the Year, and to Jed Musch on being chosen as the TVL's Softball Coach of the Year!
Brooke's season is one of the best ever by a New York State high school player, and numbers are getting submitted to the state offices for record certification soon once the state tournament is finalized. As of this point, she is in line to be recognized as the state record holder for stolen bases in a single season, and runs scored in a single season, while also posting the second best batting average in New York State HS history.
In addition to the Musch family taking two of the three major awards from the TVL, five Blue Devils were named league all-stars (Brooke Musch, Camryn Shenk, Kaitlyn Findlay, Ryleigh Johnson and Layla Killino), and Kendall Musch and Avery Prievo were named honorable mention all-stars.
Congratulations!

The 2023 CHS Drama Club Coffee House is tonight (Wednesday, June 7th) at 6 PM. In addition, Shorty's Deli will be donating a portion of your total check to the drama club if you dine there between 4 and 6 pm tonight.
Dinner, Dessert, and a Show? That's a pretty good deal for a Wednesday Night.
As we get ready to pay our respects over the next two afternoons, it presents an opportunity to share this memory with all of you.
This picture was taken at the CES Fall Carnival at the start of this school year. It was an awesome afternoon and a terrific event, and the team effort to make it happen included Greg, of course.
At one point, Greg decided to show his silly side and start dancing behind the DJ table, to the delight of quite a few onlookers.
It was so much more than just a fun little dance. For everyone who saw it, it made their day just that much better. It was truly an embodiment of how dedicated and committed Greg was to giving our students and families the best experience possible, while having a lot of fun along the way.
Think of the ways he made your life better as a colleague, as a student, and as a member of this community. Pass that spirit on to others, and do a little dance if you want to.
The Camden Elementary School Band, Choir, and Orchestra delivered a terrific performance last night at Camden High School. As always, we thank you for coming to support our students in a meaningful way.
Last night, Pre-K students at Camden Elementary School celebrated a GREAT first year of learning with us with their graduation ceremony!
Check out this awesome story from #MOBOCES about CHS senior and CTE Conservation student Lillian Piersall!
We're proud that she has taken the lead on a pretty cool horticulture project, and we hope that we see some of our younger students follow that example someday using the foundation set down for them in their new agriculture classes at Camden Middle School, At CMS, we have had the good fortune of receiving a grow tower provided by this grant through MOBOCES.

While learning about agriculture in their own backyard, students had the chance to meet the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Richard Ball!
Friday's packet pickup for the Color Blast run doubled as a "Self Care Fair"! Attendees got to participate in a karate demonstration, play with puppies, do an art project with Mrs. Bates, and a fun science activity with the one and only "Professor K"!
On Saturday, the village streets became the canvas for a wave of colorful fun! The participants of the Camden Elementary PTO's Camden Color Blast run had a fantastic time while raising plenty of helpful funds for the PTO!

One of the biggest awards given out at each year's Class Night is the Student Seed of Selflessness award. This award closely mirrors the adult award in that it is given to a recipient who routinely goes above and beyond what is required to help students, staff, and their community.
This year's recipient was Katie Hite. Adult recipients Pearl Romano and Karl Keil presented Katie with her award.
Congratulations!
